When it is night time, in poor atmospheric visibility, at long distances or due to urban luminescence effects, it is common to observe lights that cannot be identified as aircraft, satellites or something else.
It can always be a little more shocking to observe such objects live, which is why we can have more or less criteria when differentiating or cataloguing the observed objects, as it depends on many factors such as the emotional condition at the time of observation, the way in which the objects were seen contrasted with the way in which the observed objects are portrayed or photographed.
The related video was taken on the 25th of November 2019, the object stands out for the way it moved, at times it looked greenish yellow, at others it blinked like a normal plane, so its appearance was very misleading.
During the same night many “flights” were observed, more than on a normal day, some that could be differentiated by observing them perfectly as commercial flights, some not so much, like the previous video.
Avobe is an image showing the layout of lights on commercial or private flights, which will depend on many factors, but in general they cover the official aviation layout of the Secretaria de Comunicaciones y Transportes (Mexico) which in general is a general international aviation standard.
The lights would be shown in the different hatches as shown:
So, apply your judgement, although it is always best to intuit when taking live video. 😊
